HCG was established in 2015 with the intent and initiative to make counseling affordable for all, a passion of Kemi Huntley, which has been accomplished since the opening of Huntley Counseling Group, HCG aims to promote mental wellness in all communities of Charlotte, NC and within North Carolina as well. At HCG value is placed on not only the treatment approach but the value of the relationships built with each client that starts their wellness journey at HCG.  

HCG offers a eclectic approach, meeting the needs of each client while meeting that person where they are in their life.

HCG’s vision is to lead the way in unconventional and effective approaches to healing for millenials, Gen Z’s, and everybody in between.

Kemi Huntley is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Entrepreneur, and boy mom based in Charlotte, NC, but was born in Mississippi and raised in Fayetteville, NC much of her life. She has been in private practice since 2015 providing mental health counseling at Huntley Counseling Center, but has been operating in the mental health field since 2011. She encourages her clients by being a beacon of hope and change, while empowering them to be their own “therapist” in a sense, she meets all her clients where they are and walks beside them on their mental wellness journey. 

Kemi Huntley, also curates self care events locally and has established a T-shirt line, which promotes self care through another established business called SELFCAREBELLE, which is a woman-led business developed and created to promote self care in many different ways, being a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor has been very helpful for her in implementing and pushing the narrative of self care further; beyond “feel good activities.”
